The Council on Foundations has just created a website "Economic Xchange"
(http://www.cofinteract.org/economy) because of the global economic crisis. It's a "web-based platform where members of the philanthropic sector can exchange information, dialogue, ideas, and tactics around the economic crisis and its impact on Philanthropy".
Although the site is designed for foundations, individuals concerned about global climate change can find alot of helpful contacts and resources. "You can browse the site which is broken into Resources, Events or Search by Topic, for example, Money Strategies, Giving Strategies, Funding Changes, Communication, Foundation Policy and Leadership, Economic Trends, and the Impact on Nonprofits."
