Oceanographer and climate researcher Tom Pedersen sits on the executive committee of the new Pacific Institute for Climate Solutions (PICS). He has a focus "on the application of government policy to climate-change mitigation, adaptation and associated economic returns".
In his recent article published at the height of economic doom and gloom, "Green Should Be the Colour of Money", he talks about how the countries leading the non-carbon energy revolution are poised to make remarkable economic gains. "The profit potential of the energy transformation is vast", and Pedersen cites a few examples.
